Slovenia is truly an undiscovered gem in Europe and despite its small size, it has so much to offer! Predjama Castle is recognised by Guinness World Records as being the world’s largest Renaissance Castle built within a cave mouth. The castle was run by Erazem of Predjama, who was kind of like Robin Hood. Predjama Castle with its location and mysterious tunnels is truly something special. It impresses visitors with how well the natural cave and the man-made castle walls are interwoven. This place is fantastic tourist attraction and worthy of a visit by ‘wannabe’ Knights and Princesses, just like me. I would like to point out that Slovenia is a really beautiful country. As soon as you leave the city, everything becomes green and mountainous and altogether beautiful.
